Born Cold Martini

Combining Shiso’s minty aromatics with the herbal finesse of thai basil and sharp freshness of yuzu, the Born Cold represents the elegance of a classic martini cocktail with a contemporary Japanese twist.

Ingredients

To make the syrup, take

1 jar of Yuzu Jam (350g) and

1 part water (350ml)

– Combine in a saucepan over a low heat

– Stir until the jam has dissolved

– Take off heat and allow to cool

– Strain to remove any sediment

– Once cooled bottle and it is ready for use

 

This will keep for three days

Combine

all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker.

Fill

shaker with cubed ice and shake.

Strain

into a coupette/martini glass.

Garnish

with a Shiso leaf and serve with a smile!
